I am a graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in History. I have a passion for finance, economics, research, and historical studies. During my time at UNC Charlotte, I learned economic theory, mathematics, finance, research, writing, and interpersonal skills. I combined history and economics because they allow me to have a unique view and approach to research, financial markets, and banking. During my time as an undergrad, I researched the history of international trade and stock market valuations as part of my coursework. I was a member of the Future leaders of Accounting club at UNC Charlotte.I have more than 6 years of experience in retail, sales, and service industry that allows me to efficiently communicate with customers. At QuikTrip and Choice collectibles, I interacted with coworkers and customers from every walk of life. During my time at Choice Collectibles, I assisted in selling, transporting, and merchandising dozens of pieces of rare and high-end artwork. I learned specific details about the creation, present and future value of many pieces of high-end art. This job required strong interpersonal skills while working at high volume events that required many hours of close interaction.As a research and pricing analyst at Thompson Antique Company I use analytical, research, and merchandising skills. I research the authenticity, condition, and valuation of hundreds of antiques, collectibles, and works of art.
