Responsible for all aspects of the Metrolinx Information Technology operations, extensive network infrastructure, application support and management, corporate network services, business applications. Deployment and support of Public Transit IT and OT systems - train and bus location and management systems, digital passenger information systems, transit operational systems, mobile communications, fare collection systems.

Responsible for the management of a large scale processing environment, real time critical collection and distribution of market data combined with extensive historical databases. Provide multiple time critical and historical data feeds to product delivery systems connected to Fortune 500 customers internationally. Manage a $15 million annual operating budget, 32 employees and a large outsourcing contract. Also responsible for the internal business support functions, desktop, e-mail, file servers, internal databases and applications.

Responsible for the operation of a global packet switched network with points of presence in 60 countries. Managed a staff of 22 located in Asia, Europe and North America. Primary role was to transform network operations from individual groups to a global organization to improve standardization, reliability and performance for global customers. Vendor management of 3 equipment providers.

Responsible for the Canadian portion of the global packet switched network. This included the major network hub, Canadian network customers and 24x7 shift operations. Primary role was to improve operations processes and network reliability/performance during a high growth period.
