Responsible for the development and execution of a 5 year plan for the facility by identifying, specifying, and implementing capital required to meet product and demand requirements while implementing advanced and robust technologies to achieve safety, quality and cost objectives.Additional responsibilities include the management of the process and facilities maintenance teams.

● Managed a quality organization with 3 management and 10 hourly direct reports spanning 5 separate facilities responsible for manufacturing and assembling undercarriage components.● Led and developed an organization through the implementation and development of quality systems in the Mach 1/SAP environment.● Established an internal quality system to proactively manage incoming material, manufactured material, and assembled material, resulting in a 50% reduction in defects delivered to both internal and end customers.● Led the organization in the creation and implementation of ISO 9001 compliant policies and procedures.● Implemented a robust review of new product and new process introduction, reviewing and maintaining APQP gates 4 through 7 at the manufacturing site, including in accelerated new product introduction cycles.

● Worked with a diverse team to developed creep feed grinding parameters that allowed for a 120% reduction in tool usage while maintaining quality.● Functioned as the technical lead in development and implementation of a $6.5M creep feed grinding asset and supporting automation.● Developed machining process increasing quality and throughput of master links, allowing for the retirement of defunct assets.

● Managed 48 employees in large structure machining and fabrication across two shifts.● Implemented and enforced the quality plan for fabrications, leading to the highest level of internal certification● Implemented the use of software to document Overall Equipment Effectiveness to gather data, and implemented changes in based on that data.● Managed personnel and processes to ensure that new product designs were proven out and a robust manufacturing process developed on time and on budget.

● Worked with suppliers to reduce the number of defects delivered by 50% ● Discovered and eliminated internal manufacturing process issues, eliminating approximately $36,000 of scrap annually.● Managed rework of defective supplier material, and recovered $11,730 in rework and inspection costs incurred by the facility

● Led capital projects to replace the aging assets used to support manufacturing operations● Designed and implemented a new material delivery methodology, allowing for the reduction of one trucker and an additional $55,500 per year savings.

● Eliminated to primary drivers of safety issues by re-designing machining fixtures to allow for the use of a lifting device.● Conducted creep feed grinding wheel tests, resulting in increased tool life and product quality resulting in a savings of $167,000 per year.● Project manager for the purchase of a new Creep Feed Grinding Machine and supporting automation.
