I have 30+ years experience in the electric utility / energy industry, ranging from energy conservation to the promotion of renewable energy projects, along with managing a portfolio of assets ranging from small run-of-river hydro, natural gas, pumped storage and our large hydro power projects. My background includes forming teams in developing strategies to mitigate the commodity risk associated with electric and natural gas markets, and then implementing plans to monitor and respond to those risks. Furthermore, I have experience in communicating complex issues and distilling them down to their financial impacts, and then providing solutions in a cost effective manner. Chief among them is the growth of renewable sources and the mission to promote their growth.
