Staff Accountant
Current• Responsible for the accounting functions of three Casino properties and a Golf Course using Infinium accounting software. • Currently handle the general ledger including accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank statements for these locations. • Reconcile the credit card revenue of the fifty merchant locations amongst the three Casino properties. • Examine the Corporate spending of the Board of Directors and Executive Department in relation to company business trips. • Formulate a spreadsheet and keep track of all corporate cell phone charges in Microsoft Excel via a pivot table which is reviewed and approved by a panel of the members of upper management.• Create and distribute financial statements three times per month to all departments and handle any inquiries and discrepancies. • Attend monthly financial review meetings with upper management and comprise a Meeting Minutes Report in Microsoft Word for the Director of Accounting.• Keep track of wine inventory for our Restaurant locations via the Stratton Warren System (SWS) inventory system.• Handle the deposits of checks from outside vendors.
