Communications professional with a passion for connecting people with the information they seek.My work in communications began with planning events, conferences, virtual events and educational webinars as a government consultant. I quickly learned that clear and relatable event information resulted in happier and more engaged participants. As part of my role, I drafted copy for fliers, websites, agendas and e-blasts. As a Senior Web Specialist at Johns Hopkins medicine, I managed multiple departments' web content including Radiology and The Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety & Quality. I worked with subject matter experts to present their procedures and findings into easily digestible consumer copy. I have managed the creation of new websites as well as converting older sites into a more consumer-friendly mobile-first platform with new architecture structures and content.
