Work with a team of Analysts to review benefit plans and contracts in Epic Tapestry and give direction to Application Support team to create new plans and to make changes to plans and contracts. Analyze large quantities of system data using Excel, SQL, and other tools. Create and manage workflow and analytics tools in Excel and Visual Basic. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all benefit summary documents for all plans/employer groups (using Visual Basic to steamline creation/update processes). Work with other departments to efficiently and accurately assure benefit plans and documents are available for new and renewing employer groups. Advanced Excel knowledge, proficient in Visual Basic.

Conduct detailed, random, internal audits of Operations Department outputs, performing analysis and providing reports of findings to facilitate process, documentation, and communication improvements. Audit functions include analysis of Claims, Enrollment, Contracting, Benefits, and Epic Tapestry system functions and outputs. Epic Tapestry 2014 certified.

Head of information and knowledge management within the Member and Provider Services department. Involved with testing and implementation of Epic Tapestry. Previously in charge of monitoring and updating Primary Care Physician assignment for customers to align with use and positively affect provider payment.

First contact for customers via phone, email, and in person with all issues related to insurance - directed issues to appropriate areas, facilitated customer-requested changes, and solved problems. Also worked as part of the knowledge management team and worked with other departments on projects and problem-solving.

Managed a team of approximately 30 call center representatives in a call center of over 500. Monitored day-to-day performance and attendance, completed performance reviews. Worked with a team of other supervisors to manage a large number of employees in a 24 hour call center.
