Financial Responsibilities1. Performs the day to day processing of unit based financial transactions and ensures that all budgetary operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.2. Performs budget and data analyses (unit based and protocol specific) and works closely with MICHR finance on all relevant aspects of cost-recovered studies. 3. Completes required payroll functions and monitors staff working hours, overtime and leave balances.4. Prepares accurate and timely reports such as monthly financial status reports, and functionally supervises junior administrative assistant staff engaged in the preparation and maintenance of MCRU financial records.5. Maintains professional conduct, confidentiality and discretion at all times.6. Problem solving financial errors in relation to participant billing, submits findings to the hospital finance team for correction. Administrative Responsibilities 1. Implements and maintains administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitors administrative projects independently within the scope of responsibilities.2. Provides administrative support and performs relevant record keeping to ensure effective and efficient office operations3. Coordinates designated office support services, including purchasing and facilities management.4. Monitors and maintains the on-line appointment scheduling system and coordinates with the MICHR IT team as required.5. Administers human resource processes including compensation, licensing, benefits and performance management systems.6. Acts as the M-Learning facilitator.7. Working with the Associate Managing director and other unit based supervisory personnel resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
