Develop and execute legislative and regulatory affairs priorities that create and sustain state and federal investment in Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First home visiting programs. Managing the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Delaware.

Direct and execute the health policy, nursing practice, and member engagement needs of the association. Areas of strategic planning include:-Health policy and nursing practice strategy-Research nursing and healthcare trends-Review of legislative and regulatory documents and preparation of written and oral testimony-Relationship building with policy makers, agencies, professional healthcare organizations, and key stakeholders-Maintains and updates Nursing Practice statements and positions-Develops, cultivates and maintains a grassroots lobbying program-Serves as a speaker for educational programming on topics related to health policy and nursing practice

-Oversaw the Health Policy and Nursing Practice programs. -Worked with national affiliates, American Nurses Association and American Federation of Teachers, on common nursing and healthcare initiatives.-Served on various internal and external taskforces including: Safe Staffing, Advancing Nursing Education, Strategic Planning, Two-Year Retention Planning, Komen Survivorship Steering Committee, Human Trafficking Conference Planning Committee, America Votes.-Served as the staff liaison to the Ohio Student Nurses Association.
