As a Basic Course (B-Course) student in the F-16 program, I underwent comprehensive training at Holloman AFB, NM, covering a spectrum of skills essential for proficient F-16 employment. The program encompassed Basic Fighter Maneuvers (BFM), Air Combat Maneuvering (ACM), Tactical Intercepts, Basic Surface Attack (BSA), Surface Attack Tactics (SAT), Close Air Support (CAS), and Defensive and Offensive Counter-Air (DCA/OCA) and Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD). Flying predominantly as a wingman, I demonstrated discipline, contract adherence, and mastery of new systems and weapons, evolving from a UPT graduate to a skilled F-16 wingman prepared for combat scenarios.

As an IFF student transitioning from UPT to become a fighter pilot, I successfully completed the Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) course, a crucial step in evolving into a single-seat, high-performance fighter pilot. Over the course of approximately six weeks and 16 flights, the course focuses on honing skills in visual formations, basic fighter maneuvers (BFM), and basic surface attack (BSA) using the T-38C. The program instills the importance of adhering to fighter squadron standards, emphasizing exact timing, positions, and communication, laying the foundation for disciplined habits essential for future success as an F-16 pilot.

Completed a rigorous 54-week course by accomplishing over 87 flying hours in the T-6A aircraft, 96 primary flying hours in the T-38C aircraft, and 86 hours in the T-6A and T-38C simulators.
