Representative Experience:• Partner in the Firm’s Insurance and Litiation Practice Groups, represented insurers and reinsurers in coverage and reinsurance disputes involving asbestos, dioxin, hazardous waste, excessive noise, toxic chemical exposure, defective pharmaceuticals, repetitive stress injuries, artificial breast implants, HIV-contaminated blood, defective building products, reinsurance, and agent-broker controversies—multi-million dollar complex insurance coverage disputes and related litigation in the state and federal courts on a national basis. Practice included appellate arguments, bench and jury trials, numerous motions arguments, expert and fact witness depositions, and extensive written advocacy.• Other litigation experiences include representation of natural resources companies in federal eminent domain and natural resources valuation litigation, federal banking regulatory agencies in failed savings institution litigation, transportation and communications companies in administrative agency proceedings, and defense contractors in audit enforcement litigation.• Expert witness regarding Insurance Bad Faith Settlement Practices in Athridge, et. al. v. Government Employees’ Insurance Co., Civ. Action No. 07-007639 (D.C. Super. Ct.)(provided deposition and jury trial testimony, 2009-2012).
