The project's main service layer was built using the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) framework, AutoMapper, and Entity framework. Dependent on need, the main service layer would also communicate with the database directly or through nServiceBus core layer. All layers and pertinent directories were built separately and included in multiple projects using custom NuGet packages. All source code and reviews were handled with TFS Code Review.

In addition, the project's reporting was created and designed using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Software Engineer
Rolled on to a team project that developed a public and an internal website using ASP.NET MVC 3, WCF, SharePoint, and Entity Framework Code First. Each application was written from scratch using a coupled multitier architecture. The internal site’s architecture was designed to directly access the WCF services while the external site was designed to access the WCF via a firewall proxy. The database was designed entirely with Entity Framework Code First Migrations. This required writing code to create, extend, and modify every single models and migrations associated with the database. In addition to this customization, the database was required to communicate with the WCF layer. As a result, customized data context access wrappers were designed. The WCF layer was flushed out by coding custom methods database objects with C# and LINQ. In addition to the database access, customized code was designed and coded to interact with documents using SharePoint. From the web layer perspective, the ASP.MVC3 framework was used. This required customized JavaScript (jQuery, jQuery UI, JSON, and AJAX) which were implemented in tandem with customized views and partial views that were written in Razor and HTML. Building custom helpers, bindings, and validation attributes. Furthermore, AutoMapper was used extensively throughout the project as a converter between models created for use with views and data models that were consumed by the service. However, customized converters were designed and implemented when necessary. Unit testing was extensively done throughout the project, these were designed using .NET Visual Studio’s testing tool. Further testing, debugging, and troubleshooting was done using Firebug and .NET debug tools. Subversion was used for the code repository.
Developer
Developed a web based application using the ASP.NET MVC3 framework that simultaneously updated multiple databases, contained multiple roles, and provided protected authorization functionality. Prior to the planning phase, started interacting with the source code and database used by the law firm in order to understand the current flow of information. Then, held a number of knowledge transfer meetings with the IT lead for the current system and the main client. Afterwards, an initial plan and technical document was written using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio was used for database diagram design. This document was presented and approved by the IT lead and the client. Using these meetings and the documents created, designed a website from scratch using a simple MVC architecture and a SQL database for use between multiple clients. From the MVC perspective, wrote customized JavaScript (jQuery, jQuery UI, JSON, and AJAX) which were implemented in tandem with customized views and partial views that were written in Razor and HTML. In addition, created customized data models and converters, and unit tests. More so, functionality of application was debugged using Firebug and .NET debug tools. As far as server communication, the controller layer interacted directly to the database with customized LINQ queries. Furthermore, ASP.NET membership provider was used to quickly flush out user and role settings on the database and the site.Even though the site was simple in design and necessity, a SVN repository was installed and used throughout the process to monitor the progress of the site and connected to other internal projects used by client.
Junior Developer
Co-developed two coupled, multi-tenant based web application with role authorization using the ASP.NET MVC3 framework, debugged and wrote unit tests for the web application, facilitated the roll-on and roll-off of new team member training, co-wrote all technical design documents and all diagrams associated with the project. On the front end, customized JavaScript and AJAX were written for views and partial views that were written in Razor and HTML. The JavaScript was used to interacted with the jQuery, jQuery UI, Developr jQuery theme. A custom CSS was designed to give the product a widget-like look and feel.On the back end, a separate API layer was created to interact with the database through the entity framework. This layer also had to be hidden through the use of text template transformations. Due to the changing requirements, database redesign and integration was also accounted for in the daily programing structure. The web application used Firebug and the .NET debug tools.Trained new members that rolled on to the project and integrated the work of members that rolled off the project through the use of TFS Preview, pair programming with new members, and integration/removal of code as necessary.Started self-paced training in Visual Basic, WCF, Asp.Net Web Forms, Entity Framework and SQL database installation.
