• Coordinates payroll processes and advises employees and supervisors regarding compensation, benefits and human resources issues. • Administer and process all payroll related transactions benefits and ensures accuracy in benefit programs (PTO, medical, dental, flex spending, long and short term disability, 401(k), life insurance, COBRA, unemployment, etc.) for new hires, transfers, payroll/personnel changes, separations, leaves of absence and direct deposits ensuring necessary information is documented and maintained in proper files and in the HRIS system. • Serves as the primary contact for all HR questions for internal and external customers and our benefit and payroll partners and vendors. Organize and manage annual open enrollment process. Complete monthly and yearly invoice reconciliation and auditing. • Process Department of Revenue, Federal and State unemployment tax forms, add new states, and delete states as necessary. Prepare and submit invoices and payments related to payroll and other human capital initiatives. • Prepare human resources reports (e.g. quarterly Unemployment Compensation reports, US Department of Labor Wage report, EEO reports, monthly PTO and salary variance reports, salary surveys, audit reports, etc.), process requests for reference checks, loan application information, and various orders for wage garnishments for current/past employees in a timely manner. • In collaboration with the AmeriCorps/VISTA Manager, Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Director, assist in the proactive and strategic sourcing of high quality candidates for AmeriCorps and Leadership Team positions utilizing a variety of mediums to identify best fit candidates. Process all background checks required for new employees and AmeriCorps Members. • Organize and lead new hire onboarding to ensure successful education, engagement and productivity of new hires. • Engage in on-going projects that moves forward the work of the Human Resources Department.
