Responsibilities include:- Site evaluation and initial feasibility analysis- Due diligence research and assessment- Assembling and managing project design teams- Lead negotiations and entitlement approval processes- Project design and permit coordinationMore than 25 years of leadership experience in site acquisitions, design, and the development of new commercial projects, primarily throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Portfolio of projects include the development of over 18 million square feet of new commercial space in more than 300 separate developments.Deep Experience in the following:• Market research, site selection, commercial broker relations, and contract negotiations.• Qualification, contracting, and managing outside vendors, including surveyors, geotechnical engineers, environmental, traffic, architectural and civil consultants.• Responsible for site assessment investigations, due diligence, site planning, and zoning approvals.• Collaboration with clients and client representation in zoning and variance hearings before municipal boards.• Guides projects from viability and concept development through various approvals and construction.• Coordinates closely with legal counsel in preparation of real estate contracts and amendments.• Maintain, update, and report project status, schedule, and budgets to team.• Project presentations at internal team, and monthly real estate and development meetings.
