This position will function as the ITS 15 expert specialist for the Technical and Application Infrastructure in the Oracle Siebel environments, and Liquor SalesForce environments.The specialist is the multi-disciplinary authority responsible for design, planning, implementation and support of SOM infrastructure for the e-Docket, and interfacing systems. This position will also be responsible for the Liquor Salesforce applications and environments and implementations. This position will work with appropriate personnel to ensure that all solution application, database and middleware environments are secure, reliable, scalable and able to accommodate vast amounts of data and application transactions. Additionally, this position will be involved in understanding client agency’s business objectives and aligning information technology architecture to support these objectives. This position will provide technical leadership, guidance and direction to LARA AS Teams, DBA’s, Web/Middleware Administrators and Infrastructure teams for all IT projects in the program scope and interfacing systems. This position will provide technical expertise to DTMB Enterprise Architecture Core Team, DTMB managers and directors. E-Docket is an ongoing project to modernize the current State of Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) electronic document filing system and internal case management applications. This application will be hosted on the Oracle Siebel CRM platform. Liquor SalesForce project is a new project to replace the current case management system in use by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission using the Salesforce platform. An integral functionality of the system will include the implementation of electronic based file workflows, interfacing with Agency Electronic Document Management system to reduce the requirements for manual paper handling within the Agency. The MLCC represents over 1 billion dollars in annual gross sales with net revenue in the hundreds of millions.

Provide LARA Agency Services and Michigan Business One Stop team with the following:  WebSphere (WPS/WAS) based application design and development expertise in JEE environment for support and development. .Net Framework based application design and development expertise for support and development. Lead in all phases of the web application delivery process, from inception through development, QA, and post-release support; Use SUITE/SEM processes in all projects and maintenance requests. In-depth knowledge of best practices in such methodologies as Enterprise Application Integration, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), Application Solutions Architecture, Application Development platforms and Infrastructures platforms such as .NET, WebSphere. Support and knowledge of middleware systems (MQ Series, MQ Broker and ESB) Technical advice and counsel to developers related to the applications architecture for assigned complex applications. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides technical knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. System planning, testing, configuration management and documentation.
