"Because I love houses" is what you see at the bottom of my business cards.And that's exactly why I decided to change careers in 2005 from working with children in N and NE Portland for over 20 years, to Real Estate. I am a true Oregonian, born and raised in Portland and have lived just about everywhere; from NE to Estacada to SE....both mostly in NE. I went to Grant High, where my daughter is now a senior and my son is a 7th grader at Beaumont, which is where I also went to middle school.Being able to continue working with people and stay in the community is a big reason why I went from childcare to real estate. Real Estate has been a roller coaster for sure, but people get on roller coasters for the THRILL and FUN of it! Which is why I have stayed on it and even built it bigger with more twists and turns. In January 2011, Chris and I were lucky enough to be able to open Dwell Realty in Vanport Square and it has been so much fun.
