I still remember as a kid my excitement opening my favorite holiday gift: a big chalkboard to teach my "students" (i.e., my trove of stuffed animals)! My passion for learning has been a constant in my life. Combined with my enthusiasm for digital and graphic design, it fuels my work as an Instructional Designer.I'm committed to ensuring my learners feel their time is valued through training experiences that are enjoyable and targeted to their success. I stay current in today's trends and skills in instructional design to ensure that my learning solutions do just that.I love to organize complex information into accessible chunks. Taking an end objective and backwards planning is fun work for me! I'm a data-diving enthusiast when it comes to evaluating performance gaps and creating responsive training. This is at the heart of my extensive experience as an educator and content developer. I've never met a spreadsheet I didn't like!I thrive on collaboration and love working in creative environments. As part of an instructional leadership team, I successfully led a system-wide initiative using job aids, microlearning, and blended learning to achieve full staff training.I’m based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Olympia, Washington, where I love exploring trails and beaches with my husband, son, and two dogs.
