Working apart of the Safeguarding team to ensure the well-being, pastoral and safeguarding needs of students are monitored to a high level of efficiency. Weekly meetings involve discussing students of concern and advising appropriate actions to ensure students are mentally and physically well in an academically intensive environment.

Working with the boarding team to care for the mental and physical wellbeing of students to ensure they are safe, happy and academically focused. Work duties ensure that students following morning and evening routines, reporting concerns of student welfare to the house parents and maintaining positive relationships with the student.

Conducting high-quality ESL lessons for students aged 3-18. Lessons are conducted using a combination of materials including audio and visual technology. Responsibilities also include working as a part of a successful academic team, maintaining class records and administration.

This involved planning, organising and conducting themed activities for children aged 4-11. Responsibilities also included ensuring children were well supervised in a controlled but fun and enjoyable environment. Some part-time volunteer work also supplemented time here to aid part-time tutoring work.

I tutored 6-9 hours a week alongside full-time work as a maintenance worker. Tutoring ranged from GCSE Literature and Language to upper KS2 to and lower KS3 work. This work came as supplement to the students' only schooling which was temporarily disrupted due COVID. Despite routine re-establishing itself both students chose to carry on their tuition.
