Water Fund India

Fund focus is expansion and densification of forests using cutting edge technologies and new monetisation paradigms. The fund proposes to catalyse initiatives to revive barren land, improve water table, enhance biodiversity and sequester more carbon using new technologies. It also proposes to drive new monetisation models such as sale of carbon credits, improved market access for value added products, sustainable habitats, eco tourism etc. The water fund seeks to associate with individuals and organisations with an interest to participate in activities of the fund as technologists, investors, social workers, domain experts etc. The USD 100 Million fund will start operations in 2023 with a twenty five year impact horizon and a geographical focus on the four key forestry hubs of India.
