I am currently working with 10th – 12th grade students with emotional and behavioral disorders who have been removed from their home schools due to behaviors that are dangerous to themselves or others. My classroom is designed to teach the students the coping skills, responsibilities, and academic knowledge that these students will need to return to their home schools or enroll in a community college.

I provide 9 hours of in-home care a week, for a young man with Autism. We use TEACCH and ABA therapies to meet self-help goals set by the team that works with him.
I taught Kindergarten through third grade students in a cross-category, self-contained and resource program. During my final two years, I also worked with students at the intermediate level.
I taught students with severe Autism and behavioral disorders. From September to May, I taught students ages nine to eleven. I also ran the summer school program for students aged eighteen to twenty-one.During this time I was licensed and drove a van for transportation of students before school, after school, and to community based learning projects.
