I provided technical support on a wide range of needs, including functional training and set-up, data and database problems, software bugs, migrations and conversions, server and system configuration, and troubleshooting of automation design and report writing. I was promoted to this position from Accounting Specialist. It was my job to manage a case-load of accounts by locating and contacting clients, and speaking with them in the office and over the phone. I practiced organization and attention to detail skills while keeping great notes of all interactions and plans. I also received a stipend for IS duties that included creating reports, queries, and evaluation and integration of collections software. It was during this time while working with our vendor's software support technician that I became interested in working in software support.
