CurrentDuring my time with the Offices I have accomplished many things, I am a AZ Post General Instructor and have worked at various facilities, such as Estrella, Food Factory, Durango, Special Response Team, Tents Division, Central Intake, Lower Buckeye Jail and Medical Services Mental Health\ Power Medical and Direct Supervision Officer\Estrella Jail\Durango Jail.During my time with the Special Response Team I was trained in cell extractions, tactical formations and pod clearances. As well-paying attention to detail was an important facet of SRT. Noticing details often overlooked was just as important as proper documentation of all my actions.During my time in Medical Services I received a commendation from the medical staff for helping with a medical emergency in MHU P3. During this time, I was often assigned to work with newly transferred officers, providing them a strong foundation in the office polices and office procedures uniquely found in the mental health unit. While working in the Metal Health Unit I had the pleasure to work in the direct supervision pod in P-4, we started to utilizing Direct Supervision, communicating with the inmates regarding day to day activities, while coordinating with the medical health providers, the best approach for the individuals in their care.I am currently assigned as a Direct Supervision Officer for the Mosaic Program. I act as a role model for the inmates and officers assigned to work in this program. I maintain a great working relationship with my peers, command staff and the mental health professionals. I strive very well talking to inmates and getting to know them and maintain a positive rapport.
