• Review and approve payroll for multiple companies in multiple states, each with unique structures. A combined total of approximately 210 employees with varying pay frequencies; semi-monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, and monthly incentives/commissions payrolls.• Assist employees and managers with payroll and benefits related questions or issues, both existing and former employees.• Manage and maintain the ADP Workforce Now system.• Ensure accurate data entry for all new hires, employee changes and terminations into ADP Workforce Now. • Manage all payroll related audits and assist in the management of benefits related audits.• Work closely with benefit brokers, the COBRA administration team, Health Care, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), retirement plan, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) vendors to manage relationships and ensure that services meet expectations of all users. • Manage and maintain EDI/carrier connection file feeds setup between ADP Workforce Now and benefit carriers.• Review and approve employee payroll retirement plan contributions and other payroll retirement plan related forms.• Review and approve monthly benefit bills (with allocation breakouts) and submit to the Accounts Payable team for payment.• Interpret union contracts and their associated payroll and reporting requirements.• Review and submit monthly union remittance reports and weekly certified payrolls.• Responsible for reviewing and submitting quarterly payroll tax returns, L&I filings, annual W-2 forms, and annual ACA reporting.• Compile various payroll data/generate custom reports for purposes such as budgeting, job costing, EEO-1, Affirmative Action, account reconciliation, and invoice breakouts & allocations.• Prepare payroll journal entries and custom reports for accounting.• Participate in and coordinate the annual renewal of benefits and the open enrollment period to ensure that employees have the information they need.
