In my previous role as Brand Manager, I simplified complex problems with compelling design story telling. I used strategic thinking to systematically capture a clear and concise design strategy that could engage at every level. While making the complex simple, I challenged my self and problem solved by utilizing research and insight. I brought projects from to conception to implementation, while thinking about how they applied to real-world human problems.When I was interfacing and leading clients throughout the design process. I helped them speak in a direct visual language and explained that, by capturing those thoughts they could express their mission to their donors concisely. Having knowledge of the value of a design voice and solid point of view, I would guide our clients to tell a captivating story, build a deep rapport, and give honest feedback.

My role at DonorDotz was to take initiative, work to understand ours customers and communicate our goals. I brought an understanding of creative and strategic thinking and made it my central role. I provided a keen knowledge of engagement on multiple platforms, by using social media, producing powerful visuals and constructing thoughtful copy. I shaped the voice and personality of DonorDotz while staying honest with our vision, our partners and our customers.

Roguehouse design was started with my friend and colleague Chris Master as a way to keep our design skills sharp outside of work. In 3 years it has grown to be so much more. It has become a creative outlet for us and way to share our passion for design. Our clients seem to become friends after working with us for a short time and to be honest what's better than getting to work and collaborate creatively with friends. I enjoy building the relationships that last and building a trust that helps them say “Just make me something. I know it will be great.” I have many responsibilities that come with this position but I love every minute.• Manage in/outbound company traffic for our multiple clients• Conceptualize and create multiple design elements for many clients• Act as direct client liaison• Collaborated in establishing the company branding• Help establish a broad client base

While working for Infinity Publishing, I responsible for various aspects of the design process. For example, I coordinated communications with authors to manage artwork for 5-10 design projects for any given week and generate all outbound marketing materials. Also, I had the wonderful opportunity to address authors directly and present at our annual “Express Yourself” Authors’ Conference. Utilizing my own creativity and author input. I was able to create 500+ unique book covers during my time at Infinity. Because I worked in such a fast paced environment, I have the ability to produce a large volume of work in a short amount of time.
