My role was to define and maintain the Movember Foundation's brand voice, guiding all written content across the many channels of this internationally recognised and innovative charity. From web content strategy, information architecture and website microcopy through to writing health information, campaign creative, social media, EDMs and marketing materials, I had a hand in all aspects of communicating Movember’s unique voice and tone across digital channels year-round.

During a major redesign and relaunch of Tuts+ I created and upheld a voice and tone guide, produced site copy, and tested and iterated information architecture and content changes in close collaboration with the design team.I collaborated with the editorial team to develop and introduce content strategy, SEO improvements and regular content reviews, to an audience of over 4,000,000 unique visitors per month. I worked one-on-one and in groups with editors and instructors from all corners of the globe, including writers and presenters for whom English is a second language, to produce educational content seen by millions. I also produced marketing emails, ran the Tuts+ blog and wrote social media posts to a dedicated subscriber base of over 500,000 users.

As the Communications Editor for Envato's network of marketplace sites I developed a style and tone guide for external communications and wrote, organised and maintained a support knowledge base of over 200 articles. A key aspect of my role was to understand and represent the needs of the user in site design and UX projects. I wrote and edited blog posts, help articles, marketing emails and site copy, and responded actively to support requests, forum posts and other seller enquiries.

I developed and maintained the review standards for incoming sellers of photography on Envato's stock marketplace PhotoDune. As primary point of contact for the PhotoDune review team I coordinated and reported on changes to processes and standards, ensuring a consistent level of quality and commercial viability across the library of photographic content. I produced internal and external-facing assets to improve the experience of buyers and sellers.
