I recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO). During my time at Cal Poly SLO, I double majored in History and Comparative Ethnic Studies. I am also a first generation college student. Throughout my years in college, I have been actively involved in the College of Liberal Arts interning for the Ethnic Studies Department. Through this internship, I conducted research, communicated and worked with various faculty, staff, and peers, as well as planned events that educated others. To describe me a little more: I focus on building and sustaining a welcoming atmosphere for all. Additionally, I am mindful and aware of other people’s cultures and am able to work well with others.
