Most of my working life I have been in the Accounts Payable department of various companies from Grocery chains to Printing to Manufacturing and now Technology. Through these years I have learned a great deal about AP and all the processes that come with it. I have seen AP go from being very manual to very automated. I had the great experience of playing a major role in setting up the Document Scanning and Archiving, virtually eliminating all paper filing related to the AP department. I have also been a part of electronic payment setup with ACH. There are many more process improvements that I hope to achieve in my career. My goal is to excel in my leadership skills. At Citrix I had the opportunity to be a part of the Concur implementation, and several acquisitions. Fast forward on to Neo4j, Inc. Here I play a key role in the entire AP process, to include onboarding Vendors. I have also had the opportunity to be more involved in the month end process, with reclassing and accrual journal entries, as well as auditing of expense reports via Expensify. It has been an exciting career thus far with all the changes and improvements. Simplifying processes and moving everything to an electronic atmosphere.
