Responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function with an emphasis on employee performance, engagement, implementing and establishing policies and procedures in regard to benefits, recruitment, training and development, performance management and employee relations.

Administration and implementation of domestic and international benefit plans. Strategic planning of Health & Wellness initiatives and promotions.

Direct all areas of Human Resource administration including employee relations, administration of associate services, benefit coordination, workers compensation, development and training processes, and provide counsel and direction on all employment laws. Oversee the Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Coordinator. Proficient in conversational Spanish. Certified Human Resources Executive.

Provide employment functions in the administration of staffing requirements for all Hotel positions. Conduct interviews for hourly and management candidates, place recruitment advertisements, maintain associate records, process all paperwork for payroll, maintain job postings, distribute all reviews on a monthly and annual basis for all hourly and management positions, track and monitor timely completion. Participate in planning and execution of associate events. Conduct weekly new hire orientation for new associates; provide associate job development through Lead Trainer program and Manager Development classes. Properly administer and coordinate all areas of the Omni Hotels Benefit Program with all associates.

Conduct all pre-screening of applicants, complete reference checks on potential associates, schedule interviews, process new hire paperwork, maintain new hire log and applicant flow log, ensure appropriate signatures for paperwork, maintain orderliness of office supplies and equipment, maintain files, answer phones and phone inquiries, type memos and other correspondence, assist in weekly orientation program in English and Spanish, distribute office mail, participate in planning and execution of employee events planned by the HR Department, enter purchase order requests for office supplies, distribute Power of One Service Point of the week to all departments, fax all current openings to all recruiting sources, enroll eligible associates for benefits, attend monthly job fairs, secretary for the Safety Committee.
