HR support for local site and global product line in the turbine controls industry.Notable Accomplishments: Successfully relocated a 60K sq. ft. facility and 200 employees with zero turnover due to relocation through strategic communication and creative retention plans. Also grew employee base by about 50% and handled GM turnover twice, successfully passed two AAP audits, and temporarily covered remote client groups for other facilities and functions including layoff situations and multiple business reorganizations.

Functional HR support for business specializing in hardware and software distribution.Notable Accomplishment: Influenced culture change within the existing HR team and business to assimilate to GE cultural expectations. Of note, I implemented the adoption of succession planning and salary planning processes such that leaders became advocates for the value and usefulness of these techniques.

Regional HR support for sales and services employees in the midwest and west.My challenge in this role was to connect with and support people working remotely as a stand-alone HRM. I was also called upon to conduct internal integrity investigations for other GE businesses as well as our own.

HRLP is a program which includes a series of rotations and specialized training intended to give the trainee a broad set of experiences in HR and leadership in a condensed period of time, and includes a non-HR rotation to improve business acumen. My locations included Salem VA (engineering), Bloomington IL (union manufacturing), and business headquarters in Plainville CT (non-HR rotation in finance).
