I understood that my place was to keep others working in the production of materials which keep the company going. Due to industry downturns and resultant downsizing, my responsibilities turned from Network and Systems Administration to more of a technical support role, all the while retaining those responsibilities I held previously. I was the sole Network Administrator for two local production facilities, sole technical support for one facility and shared responsibility for the other when needed.Personally I tried to keep on top of the systems which we used and strove to acquire new knowledge in the field which may be of a benefit to the facilities for which I was responsible and the Corporation as a whole, where possible.
