As the Managing Director of J Pybus and Son, I have been leading the diversification and transformation of our family-owned mixed farm and office space business for over 16 years. With an MSc in Global Food Security and Nutrition, I am passionate about creating sustainable and resilient food systems that address the challenges of climate change and population growth.I have successfully implemented a regenerative annual cropping system that enhances soil health, biodiversity, and carbon sequestration, while increasing yields and quality. Instilling a sense of pride in the staff by bringing them along with the journey and proactively seeking change that can progress our businesses and enhance the environment for the benefit of the community. I have also developed and maintained strong relationships with clients and tenants, providing them with fully serviced office space and farm education. Additionally, I am a founding director of Mini Explorers, a children's nursery that offers a unique opportunity to inspire and teach pre-schoolers about farming and food.
