I am responsible for 11 individuals performing Construction, Modernization and work in addition to contract for Service customers. I survey, estimate jobs and manage the field force. In order to ensure effective delivery of our work, I visit sites and customers, and manage relationships with our factory , vendors, sales and field forces. I lead safety meetings in conjunction with the Service Supervisor of the 19 field technicians and monitor safe work practices in the field.

Sacramento, California Area

I managed 8 individuals in the field on their maintenance routes, and shared the management of 3 crews performing repairs and orders above contract. I also ensured safety standards were adhered to on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. I attended PACE classes to ensure I was aware of all changes to code.

Eureka, Ca

I was responsible for the maintenance, repair and work above contract for the Northern California route. I responded to all elevator issues on nights and weekends, restoring any elevators to Service and partnering with other mechanics as necessary. I was the touch point for my customers for their contracts and upgrades and enjoyed establishing relationships built on trust and quality of workmanship. By the time I moved into the office I was responsible for 186 units spread over 150 miles.

Central Valley, Ca

I led a 2-man crew to perform any and all repairs necessary on the elevators of the Central Valley. These ranged from re-ropes, pulling generators and motors, repacks and escalator work to load tests and work above contract.

I worked as part of a 2-man crew installing hydraulic and traction elevators, escalators and specialty units.

I was one of 3 Co-Owners of a company that installed elevator equipment. I performed all stages of the job from bid, to installation to invoicing. I hired and managed the labor force, making improvements to it as necessary.

I started in the Elevator trade with US Elevator in Florida. I followed the company from Florida to Alaska, and finally to California, where I stayed. I progressed from Helper to Mechanic to Foreman. Throughout my tenure I installed all types of elevators, escalators and specialty units such as dumbwaiters. I left when myself and 2 other mechanics started our own elevator installation business.
