Within Avaya Professional Services, I led a team of Software Specialists and Technical Solution Integration engineers supporting North America commercial customers and US & Canadian Government customers. I directly led a group of 17 employee associates, and 31 Contractors. We engage through project management office teams using the rigors of corporate policy adherence, administration & support to maximize and revenue generated.

Manage the group of up to 26 software specialists in the East US. Serve as Provisioning Manager for Small and Medium Enterprise Communications' projects and product services. Support multiple product and Services' Extended Teams on new and emerging product offerrings.

Coaching up to 34 Avaya management associates, not only to assure every customer job is delivered with high quality service, but also that each team member feels that their contribution is vital.

Documented business practices, helped sell the services to end customers using visual aids, negotiating terms and conditions, prepared the practice for ISO 9001:2000 certification and audit processes with successful designation in 2003.

Engineer officer served in successive positions in the U.S. assigned into the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR).

NetCare Professional Services Organization Year 2000 offer consultant engaged to team with existing senior staff on defining the requirements, constructing the SOW deliverables and training the 24-member staff on how to execute the offer. Focused on all of the Lucent Technologies’ products, the marketing target was large enterprise customers. Customer SOW’s specified conduct of the surveys, written results, recommendations to reach compatibility and actual solution updates. Personally executed audit for Transamerica Title Corporation.• Trained and delivered 20 on-site engagements to Lucent Technologies’ clients in Message Manager & Internet Messaging for Intuity Audix projects, resulting in revenue ranging from $15K to $37.5K each. Customer SOW’s specified Intuity Audix upgrades, deployment of the software clients, training to both system administrators and end-users, as well as system recommendations for best efficiencies. • Project manager, NETCARE PSO Y2K internal compliance project, accounting for hardware, applications, and custom applications in 33 Lab sites in 15 countries of more than 1,500 items. Directly responsible to PSO VP for project timeline adherence and resolutions related to Year 2000 readiness. Had zero product failures at the turn of the century!

Led multiple project teams in on-site telecom management and improvement activities. Analyzed business operation for multi-national Bell & Howell corporation, then selected to lead on-site Telecommunications staff supporting voice, messaging, call center and integrated voice response systems. Led other projects with two to more than 20 personnel. Supported Fortune 500 Multi-National Customers, encompassing multi-site, multi-vendor equipment environments and relevant cost reduction and equipment acquisition.

Responsible for the facility footprint and operating environment of a growing insurance subrogation business. Build-out additional sites and floorspace to accommodate business growth. Manage telecom, insurance, administrative staff, Disaster Preparedness and Recovery procedures and corporate readiness. I led a staff of 8 executive administrators and reported directly to the CFO and Legal Counsel.

Daily manager of vibrant SCUBA shop near Lake Cumberland. Took partner and created our own footprint of diving equipment sales, services and dive training. After successful start-up, sold business to the local manager - employee who already provided supplemental diving-related services.

Hired as the executive officer for a $18M per year packaging and shipping supply company. Providing resales and distribution model to local and global manufacturers including Central Tape, General Electric, Ashland Oil, etc. in the Cincinnati, Louisville, and Eastern Illinois and West Indiana regions. As Assistant Sales manager, I worked programs with sales associates that grew revenue 67%, to over $30M. In the same period I managed a services and parts service, with staff of 5, that grew revenue from $1.1M to $3.3M in the same period. I was the principal manager of the physical facility growth, building a new warehouse facility attached to existing small footprint, adding 84,000 cubic feet of capacity. Selected as a member of the Central Tape Customer Advisory Council.
