ISPOR, the leading professional society for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), is an international, multistakeholder, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science of HEOR, and leveraging scientific evidence to help make healthcare globally more accessible, effective, efficient and affordable for all. As CEO and Executive Director I lead ISPOR's efforts to communicate and advance HEOR excellence to improve decision making for health globally. I drive and execute ISPOR's strategy and advance and enhance ISPOR's strategic vision, leading the execution of ISPOR's programs and activities.I am accountable for the financial and organizational success of the organization through the effective oversight and management of ISPOR's operations and resources, including the recruitment, retention, and motivation of a high-performing staff of 65. I also provide leadership continuity to ISPOR in the context of a governance model that includes an annually-elected President. Working in collaboration with officers of the Board of Directors, I ensure that the organization maintains an engaged membership base and related revenue generation through a clear and consistent value proposition. I am responsible for sustaining current and creating new revenue streams. I manage ISPOR's day-to-day operations to ensure maximum impact on behalf of the membership.In view of the broad and international membership of ISPOR (110 countries), I bring the knowledge and experience to identify opportunities to engage multiple parties and shape priorities. I have had the privilege of living and working in over 60 countries across 6 continents and that global perspective is invaluable as I strive to position ISPOR as a true change agent in global health care.

HTAi is the single global society that draws together leading players in health technology assessment (HTA) to make global health care more accessible, equitable and impactful. Signal activities include the Annual Scientific Meeting, the Global Policy Forum, the Latin America Policy Forum, and the Asia Pacific Policy Forum. The society works in partnership with government agencies, academia, pharma, medical devices companies, other health organizations, and NGOs - most notably the World Health Organization.As CEO and Executive Director, I oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Secretariat that supports the Society, and facilitated long-term strategic planning with our global Board of Directors and other key stakeholders. I also oversaw the translation of the strategic plan into tangible activities that delivered, and were seen to have delivered, value to our members. I managed a staff of 16 and oversaw a budget of $4 million.
