I assisted in data entry utilizing IBM SPSS and Excel while handling confidential information relating to personality assessments such as the MMPI, PID, and NEO. Alongside data entry, I collected and organized information pertaining to four issues within volume 122 of the 2013 Abnormal Journal of Psychology in order to examine each study within diagnosis, with particular focus to inter-rater reliability.

I observed screenings and the assessment of individuals on probation/parole with a history of substance abuse or mental health issues so that the psychologist may make recommendations that statistically aid in a more successful completion of probation/parole. Alongside sitting in on assessments, I assisted in filing recent records, creating assessor manuals, and compiling a list of expunged records. I also performed small research tasks geared towards quantifying new programs and tools that may assist the CATS department.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I tested and supervised participants in verbal, written, and computer generated tasks involving facial recognition and memory. Also, I examined a multitude of preliminary questions for consistency in a new experiment involving mTurk, an online assessment tool. Involving both the Memory and Cognition Lab and the Psychopathology Lab, I assigned "codes," that corresponded to the frequency of responses provided by participants in a newer experiment invovling MTurk.

This position provided undergraduate students who achieved grades of A- or above with an opportunity to work closely with a professor in a paid position. My responsibilities included handling student emails, sitting in on courses, grading small essays, quizzes, and projects within a specified time frame in three introductory Art History courses.
