Scheduling the representatives calendar, constituent work, constituent contacts, meet with school groups, filing, prescreen incoming mail, prepping folders for Assembly session days or committee public hearings and executive sessions. I was the committee clerk for the representative while she was on the Joint Finance Committee. I have analyzed all finance related documents pertaining to the Biennial Wisconsin State Budget as well as legislation which have any fiscal amount. I have met alongside the representative with state agencies on fiscal issues of the state on cost effective and efficient ways to save money to Wisconsin taxpayers. I also research all the policy and legislation for the representative, communicate with service agencies on drafting legislation, and clarification of current statutes. I maintain the representative’s website as well as create and send out by email monthly update newsletters about matters in the Assembly.

Helping participants create a support and service plan, locate community resources and state long term care systems. I would assist with finding workers and service providers. I helped participants pursue their hopes and dreams, while allowing them to become more involved in the community. I helped to develop emergency back up plans. I also measured how well the participants support and service plans were working. While working with participants I was able to use some creativity and “out of the box” thinking to help participants reach their short and long term goals.
